What's not in it
No polyester fill. No nylon shell. No synthetic down alternative. Nothing made from plastic sitting against your child's skin all winter.
Why it matters
Most outerwear is synthetic because synthetic is inexpensive to make, not because it is better to wear. natural-fiber breathes, manages moisture, stays soft on sensitive skin, and, made well, outlasts the child who first wears it. That is the whole argument: a better material, honestly named.
On the word we don't use
We don't lead with sustainability claims, because the category is full of them and most cannot be checked. We would rather tell you what the garment is made of and let you decide. A coat made entirely of cotton, built to be handed down, makes its own case.
